While contemplating how to achieve the best recording possible, Are (the artist) and I (Geir Kristian, the producer) set out to search for and test various pianos that were on sale. We were aiming to establish a permanent piano setup at our new studio location. After trying out the last option, I felt a little discouraged as it was not quite good enough for Are. I said to him, 'Well, it seems we're really in need of a high-end, very expensive piano. Let’s pray that we come across a Steinway & Sons piano.' And that's exactly what happened. Around the same time, I was in the process of setting up my new studio. I reached out to a sound engineer I had known for a long time from Byscenen in Trondheim, Norway. I offered him the opportunity to store his personal audio equipment in my studio's storage room. During our conversations, I mentioned that I was looking for a good piano for a recording. He then shared that his workplace, Byscenen, had acquired a new Steinway & Sons piano in 2010 for the price of 80,000 Euros. I inquired about available dates, and it turned out that during the Easter holidays, there was an opening for us to use the piano and Byscenen for recording and to create a video for the song we're planning to release soon. Our prayers were answered 🙏🏻
